Polaris3D Expands Robotics Portfolio to Manufacturing Automation Robot.
Polaris3D, a leading autonomous robot platform company, is expanding its business from serving robots to manufacturing automation with its latest AMR solutions. The company showcased its technology at the 2025 Smart SMT & PCB Assembly (SSPA) exhibition held at Suwon Convention Center from April 2 to 4.
At the event, Polaris3D demonstrated a smart manufacturing demo line that integrates its Manufacturing Automation Robot (AMR) with Power Automotics’ i-Series i12C unmanned assembly system. The demonstration attracted significant attention, highlighting the company’s capabilities in streamlining production processes.
The AMR, combined with Polaris3D’s Nepler logistics monitoring system, enables factories to implement smart automation without high upfront costs. Currently deployed at Samsung Electronics’ Gumi plant and exported to seven global sites, the solution has proven both its technological sophistication and commercial viability.
CEO Inbeom Kwak emphasized the company’s commitment to advancing hardware and software through diverse customer experiences, adding that Polaris3D plans to partner with multiple robotics firms to expand into over 30 global markets by 2026.
In addition to AMRs, Polaris3D develops and manufactures a range of in-house robots, including the serving robot Ereon, leveraging its AI-based Kepler autonomous navigation platform to lead automation across industries.
