Polaris3D wins the grand prize at RoboWorld 2024 by showcasing its people-centered robot technology, MaaS (Mobility as a Service)!
Polaris3D Wins Innovation Day Grand Prize at RoboWorld 2024
Polaris3D, a leading robotics company specializing in serving robots and logistics automation, announced that it won the Innovation Day Grand Prize at RoboWorld 2024, Korea’s largest robotics exhibition. Through live robot demonstrations, the company achieved its best-ever results, successfully attracting both domestic and international buyers from countries including the United States and Brazil.
RoboWorld 2024: Korea’s Largest Robotics Exhibition

RoboWorld 2024, now in its 19th year, was hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, with the Korea Robot Business Association and the Korea Robot Industry Promotion Agency as co-organizers.
This year’s event set a record, featuring 291 companies and organizations across 880 booths, highlighting the growing global influence of Korea’s robotics industry.

Polaris3D Showcases Advanced Logistics and Serving Robots
At the exhibition, Polaris3D demonstrated its logistics robot, currently supplied to Samsung Electronics. The robot performed precision docking with conveyor systems within a 3cm tolerance, efficiently handling small materials. It also showcased fully unmanned factory automation, including automatic charging docks and a proprietary robot control system.
This innovation has led to exports to Samsung’s global subsidiaries, marking a significant step toward global expansion in smart logistics and industrial automation.
Polaris3D emphasized that its integration of sensors, hardware design, and software control complies with Samsung’s strict safety standards, reinforcing the company’s focus on industrial safety.

AI Delivery and Barista Robots Draw Strong Interest
The company’s AI-powered delivery robot, capable of navigating between floors through wireless elevator integration, drew attention from hotel and hospital stakeholders.
In addition, the newly developed barista robot, integrated with a QR-based order system for easy coffee ordering and delivery, impressed both industry experts and visitors.
Polaris3D’s delivery service is already operating at Suseong Hotel in Daegu and the Yonsei Cancer Center. The company plans to expand its Proof of Concept (PoC) trials to hotels in the Seoul metropolitan area next year, collecting real-world data for market analysis and scalability.

Ereon 2 Serving Robot: Human-Centered Innovation
In the serving robot zone, Polaris3D unveiled an upgraded version of its Ereon 2 serving robot, featuring a new “step-aside” function designed for human-centered interaction.
Traditional serving robots often stopped completely in narrow hallways, waiting for people to move. Ereon 2’s AI-powered facial recognition camera now detects available space and automatically moves aside, minimizing disruption and improving user experience in restaurants and hospitality environments.

CEO’s Vision for Future Growth
Inbeom Kwak, CEO of Polaris3D, commented:
“By expanding public awareness and revenue through our autonomous serving and delivery robots, we have proven the technical value of our logistics solutions.
Receiving the top prize at Innovation Day is a testament to our team’s innovation and growth potential.”
He added that Polaris3D aims to become a unicorn company, continuing to advance human-centered robotics and Mobility as a Service (MaaS) technologies.
